The Maker Store offers shopping pleasure, co-working spaces and coffee. All tenants have three things in common: they design, they make, they create. Young companies like Lowlander, Union 55 and Willem's Wermoed are housed here, making and selling their homemade beer and drinks. (Not) Coincidentally, HOP also rented a table here, so we were blessed with the opportunity to launch our agency in a very creative environment. The Worker Space and Maker Café (on the same floor) hosted our meeting with clients, contractors, suppliers and creatives.
The Maker store downstairs sells products developed by Amsterdam designers/entrepreneurs and a store for personalizing personal items through laser engraving. HOP designed the new layout of the Maker Store and then installed the co-working spaces and coffee bar in the (then vacant) mezzanine.
