Piattini

HOP designed the interior of this 44m2 cafe in Amsterdam Zuid, on the Marathonweg near Olympiaplein. The place is run by an amazing Italian couple, Giulia and Maicol, who are both from Venice and are living their dream by running their own cafe / restaurant in Amsterdam. Piattini is 100% Venice inspired: The color scheme of the interior comes from the Venezia FC soccer team with orange, green and black tones. The hammered metal sheets on the bar and the display wall represent the waters of the Venetian Canals. And the food, which is prepared by Maicol, originates from local Venetian cuisine.
