At the center of this compact home is a hidden patio with adjacent roof terrace. The unusual pie-shaped lot provided a nice challenge to position and orient the house as efficiently as possible. From the outside, the home looks massive and monolithic due to the stuccoed facade with built-in birdhouses. The wooden frames within the exterior facade provides a subtle reference to the "warm" core of the house: the patio. This is finished entirely in wood and the plants within the patio create a fine atmosphere that can be experienced from any corner of the home.

To further maximize the spaciousness of the home, the terrace within the patio can be fully incorporated into the home.
This is possible by sliding open the sliding doors in the corner of the patio. This will make the home feel more spacious on a sunny day and the outdoor space will flow seamlessly into the indoor space.
