Commissioned by Van Keulen Beheer BV, approximately 400 m2 of sustainable business space is being developed in the heart of Amsterdam South. A challenging inner-city location where renovation and new build are linked by the various wooden elements that can be found within both the interior and the architecture.

The rational grid of prefab wooden columns and beams provide an optimal flexible space characterised by the large amount of daylight entering the space through both the strip windows along the property boundary and the skylights on the roof. An important addition here is the office garden of approximately 50m2 which ensures that there is plenty of greenery visible from the office. A light, airy and modern space that builds on the original structure of the 1911 building block. Authentic charm, ready for the future.
