For a newly built home in Amsterdam North, our client was looking for a unique design for the kitchen. The kitchen had to become a central element in the space. It had to be sleek and minimalist and radiate a lot of warmth as a counterpart to the "cold" concrete used to build the building. The kitchen, with warm oak fronts and stainless steel tops, folds around the stairs. Behind the stairs is a hidden storage area, and on the other side, the kitchen also folds around the meter cupboard. The kitchen is designed to the last detail, with even the solid oak handles hand-milled into an elegant round shape.
